The Transportation Office is located in the Santa Rita Jail Service Building. Daily duties include moving prisoners between court and custodial facilities, and warrant and removal order pickup. The unit also delivers lawfully committed prisoners to designated state facilities. Transportation moves prisoners in compliance with removal orders as directed by the court.
