Armed and Dangerous

On Sunday November 9, 2003, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office responded to a call regarding suspicious circumstances at Simms Park, 7001 Niles Canyon Road in Sunol. Upon arrival the body of Reyes Sanchez Carbajal (32 Years old) was found dead along the creek area of Simms Park.

On May 15, 2006, the Cold Case Unit obtained two "No Bail" warrants for the murder of Reyes Carbajal. These two murder arrest warrants are for two brothers, Nicasio Carbajal Leon and Felipe Carbajal Leon. Detectives learned the Leon brothers killed their cousin, Reyes Carbaja, after a family dispute.
