Firearms Training Facility
The Alameda County Sheriff's Office has the premier Law Enforcement Firearms Training Facility in Northern California. The facility's five firing ranges and the live fire house are designed to provide versatility in presentations and to challenge the modern law enforcement officer's abilities. All facility ranges are parallel to the prevailing wind and the large perimeter berms offer nil wind effect to the shooter.
Additionally, our state of the art computer-based AIS/PRISM Force 
Options Simulator offers interactive hands-on training based upon real-world scenarios which stimulate and challenge the student's judgment, tactics, decision making, and reaction times.
The firearms training facility is designed to allow a variety of training opportunities for peace officers. We can meet almost all of your law enforcement agency's training needs for it's in-service officers.
We offer a variety of open enrollment courses to meet the training needs 
of Police, Tactical Officers and Military personnel. These courses are designed to push the officer both physically & mentally. Our goal is to provide all of our students with the best training possible.
THE LIVE FIRE HOUSE can be utilized with or without the adjacent Tactical Range. It offers unique training opportunities to both tactical units and patrol officers.
TWO HUNDRED YARD RIFLE RANGE - The scenarios available to you on this range are limited only by your imagination. This unique long-gun range, offers the Action Target System with the running target option.
CLASSROOM FACILITY - This 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art learning center, provides an ideal learning environment for law enforcement personnel. Each of the 4 classrooms offers seating for 25 to 100 persons.
