FORENSIC BREATH ALCOHOL ANALYSIS TRAINING

DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to instruct law enforcement personnel in the theory and operation of the Draeger Alcotest 7110 MK III-C Breath Alcohol Testing Device as well as legal issues pertaining to breath alcohol testing in general. Students will be given hands-on opportunity to operate a Draeger Alcotest 7110 MK III-C and will be expected to successfully complete practical and written examinations. Successful completion of this course is required for all law enforcement personnel prior to utilizing Alameda County Sheriff's Office supported Draeger Alcotest 7110 MK III-C instruments. Each student must complete 4 hours of training to be certified to operate the new device.
INSTRUCTORS:Â All instructors are certified from Alameda County Sheriff s Office Crime Lab.
PREREQUISITES:Â Students must be law enforcement personnel.
PRESENTATIONS HOURS: Each class is given at 0800-1200 or at 1300-1700 each day.
RESERVATIONS:Â This course is limited to 25 students and reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. LOCATION: The course will be conducted at the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, Regional Training Center, 6289 Madigan Road, Dublin, CA.
